Programme description
This program was started in September 2001. The curriculum follows that taught to Polish students but the language of tuition is English. This program is designed for candidates who graduated from high school and obtained good grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language. Successful students will be awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D. D. S.) Those intending to practice in North America will (as is standard for all those with a foreign degree) have to undertake a further two years of study in America, making a total of 7 years to obtain a licence. On October 5, 2004 the newly built Dental School (Collegium Stomotologicum) of our University was officially opened and this creates the opportunity for the further development and improvement of both our teaching and research activities. The modern, but warm and friendly design is a source of great proud and pleasure to all: our students, staff and patients.

Why PUMS? Great Experience!!!
I’m glad to be in Poznań, even though I actually didn’t think of coming to Poland in the first place. The atmosphere of college town of Poznan is perfect for a medical student. I have wonderful classmates from all over the world, and there is so much to learn from the professors! Even though my Polish is very weak, there is always someone willing to help making it much easier to live here, especially when there is so much cultural difference.
