Good Decision!
When I came as an Erasmus student to the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan in 2007 I thought I would stay for one semester, just to have a break from my rather rigid studies in Germany. But the friendly, open-hearted, hospitable Polish people really made me feel like I had found a new home. Also, the way the professors teach at the academy, the relationship between them and their students, the way ideas are developed, the constructive criticism, as well as the fact that I could easily join different classes and workshops, all contributed to my decision to become an official student of the ASP and to take my diploma there. As a city Poznan is great, even though I am probably spoilt by the opportunities Berlin and Leipzig provide. I absolutely fell in love with the old market square, the parks, the lakes and the Palm House. I made many friends during my time in Poznan, with many people who like me came on an exchange program, as well as with many Polish students.
