OpSciTech (Optics in Science and Technology) is a European Erasmus Mundus master programme providing comprehensive and multidisciplinary coverage of the field of optics from upstream scientific aspects to engineering and applications in the major sectors of economy. Applicants should hold B.Sc. or B.Eng. degree in physics and optics basics (e.g. physics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electronics, computer science). The consortium conducting the program is comprised of six institutions:

Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands)
Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany)

education requirements

Applicants should hold a bachelor degree in physics and optics fundamentals. Other criteria taken into account are awards, external references, details of earlier projects, and proof of English proficiency.

other requirements

EU candidates can apply for an Erasmus Mundus category B scholarships. Selected students will receive 23000 EUR per year. Non-EU candidates can apply for Erasmus Mundus category A scholarships. Selected students will receive a grant of 24000 EUR per year.
