BA in Biotechnology programme offers the choice of two specialisations: Industrial Biotechnology or Environmental Biotechnology. The programme is designed to produce graduates who meet employers’ needs and are able to take full advantage of the rapidly changing and expanding arena of biotechnology and commerce. Typical career routes for our graduates include working as biotechnology laboratory technician, microbiologist, biochemist, geneticist, biologist, quality control analyst, medical and clinical laboratory technician, specialist in environmental monitoring. Our graduates can progress to MA programmes (e.g. in Biotechnology or Microbiology) and get a degree which equips them with a variety of transferable skills that are highly attractive to employers
