Course Description

Course Profile

The Global Banking, Risk and Financial Management major was designed in response to the growing need to train professionals capable of operating in a complex, rapidly changing global financial environment. The goal of the education is to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in: functioning of banks and financial institutions internationally, financial, operational and regulatory risk management, corporate and investment financial management, compliance with international regulations (compliance) and corporate governance principles.

The program focuses on the development of analytical, strategic ompetencies and the ability to practically apply knowledge in the environment of international financial markets, taking into account technological (FinTech, RegTech) and sustainability (ESG) aspects.

Students also acquire the soft skills necessary to work in an international environment: cross-cultural communication, negotiation and management in global teams. The Global Banking, Risk and Financial Management major also responds to the growing importance of ESG standards, the digitization of financial processes and the rise of systemic risks in the global economy, preparing graduates to work in an environment of high volatility and innovation.
