description

The speciality is focused on nature of conflict in historical and contemporary perspective. It provides a thorough conceptual framework to help students in understanding the process of negotiation, with theoretical and practical investigations of multidimensional aspects of conflicts, and other considerations necessary to the development of effective overall negotiating strategies. Students will learn how to develop effective strategies for establishing stable solutions and a robust civil society, including how to address the interplay among issues of corruption, accountability, rule of law, elections, political party development, public administration, and economic reconstruction in divided societies.
