Course Description
Course Profile
What are you going to learn by choosing this specialization?
· The modes of identifying and designing logistic processes and systems as well as managing them.
· The modes of selecting methods and techniques for optimization and forecasting processes in logistics.
· The methods of providing logistic service for enterprises, health care institutions, and mass cultural and sports events.
· The means of designing, streamlining and reengineering of logistics processes and systems.
· The characteristics of local and regional logistics policy.
· Knowledge of unique specializations corresponding to the current requirements of the labour market. The multi-faceted curriculum covers the issues within the technical, economic, and logistical realms of knowledge.
· Practical skills, the opportunity to participate in various study visits, workshops and conferences. Hence, you will learn about day-to-day work routines in the largest logistics companies in the region.
· The ability to use modern equipment and software following the latest standards of logistics training.
A chance of obtaining the ELSE certificated confirming knowledge of the ERP and WMS class system as well as the ability to use the TransEDU application (TransEDU electronic transport exchange).
Education Requirements
You can enroll in a first degree (e.g. Bachelor’s or Engineer’s) program if you have successfully completed your secondary education and have a secondary school-leaving certificate.
Other Requirements
The documents that the candidate provides:
1. A photo taken following the requirements for the passport photo.
2. A photocopy of the secondary school-graduation certificate (for the candidates from the East, an atestat or a diploma of a junior specialist).
3. A secondary school graduation diploma or a junior specialist diploma requires an apostille or credentials from a consulate or an embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Education in your country.
4. An apostille or other certification (legalization) is not required from the candidates from the EU, the EEA, the OECD, EFTA, ETA, and the countries that have signed the Hague Convention, with the exception of candidates from Ukraine.
5. A translation of the high-school diploma into Polish or English.
The candidates may inquire the pertinent WSB about the necessity of the translation before they can translate the certificate.
(WSB University in Szczecin does not accept graduation certificates in Russian or Ukrainian; other Universities will allow such documents in their original form).
A sworn translation is not required.
6. Confirmation of the English language skills for studies in English.
If the candidate for the studies has a language certificate confirming the knowledge of English at B2 level, they will be asked to deliver it.
The level of English proficiency will be confirmed during a conversation via Skype.
7. The confirmation of knowledge of Polish for studies in Polish is not required.
