Course Profile

What are you going to learn by choosing this specialization?

• You will specialize in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
• You will learn the rules for translating various business texts in the area of finance, marketing, accounting, commercial law.
• You will learn how to prepare English-language texts that support communication with the client.
• You will develop communication skills that will allow you to develop your business and create the image of companies.
• You will be fluent in business English.
• You will learn to recognise the criteria for correct translation.
• You will learn to prepare business statements, documents, leaflets or contracts in English.
• You will plan and implement a marketing strategy for business activities carried out on an international scale.

Education Requirements

You can enroll in a first degree (e.g. Bachelor’s or Engineer’s) program if you have successfully completed your secondary education and have a secondary school-leaving certificate.

Other Requirements

The documents that the candidate provides:

●     A photo taken following the requirements for the passport photo - upon arrival to the University.

●     Secondary school certificate (diploma),

●     Transcript of records to secondary school certificate (if issued), together with the apostille certification/legalization or with consular authorization.

●     An apostille or other certification (legalization) is not required from the candidates from the EU, the EEA, the OECD, EFTA, ETA, and the countries that have signed the Hague Convention, with the exception of candidates from Ukraine.

●     The candidates may be asked about the necessity of the translation of the high-school diploma into Polish or English.

●     A sworn translation is not required.

●     If you are holding an English proficiency certificate like (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) on the level of B2, or your pervious education was conducted in English, please inform the Admissions Officer about this fact, and send the scan of certificate or confirmation about your pervious education in English.

●     If you don't have any certificate confirming your level of English, or your pervious education wasn't conducted in English, you will be asked to pass our on-line English test and interview on Skype

●     The confirmation of knowledge of Polish for studies in Polish is not required.
