Course Description
Course Profile
BA in Informatics equips students with general knowledge of Information Technology and Information Studies required for professional purposes. The programme offers the choice of specialisations in software development and information processing, computer graphics and multimedia or computer network technologies.
Our graduates can pursue careers as computer graphics designers, developers and architects of advanced IT systems, website designers, network administrators, IT systems administrators, specialists in software security.
Skills acquired by Informatics graduates will allow them to effectively function as individual IT specialists. They will also be equipped with strong teamwork skills, allowing interdisciplinary cooperation across a number of sectors that rely on IT solutions. Our graduates can progress to MA programmes (e.g. in Informatics, Mathematics) and get a degree which equips them with a variety of transferable skills that are highly attractive to employers.
