Course Description
Course Profile
Full-time, 2nd level degree courses are three semesters long and finish by preparation of the Master Thesis and the graduate is awarded the Master of Science degree.
The MSc programme offered by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering AGH University of Science and Technology focuses on modelling and verification of IT systems and on the analysis of large volumes of data. The graduates acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills about:
* various methods for modelling and verification of IT systems
* knowledge representation and reasoning
* data mining
* advanced data based systems and data warehouses
Graduates are also prepared to advance to the 3rd cycle of studies (doctoral research) at the Faculty.
