Jeremy Caldeira (USA), a first-year doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the University of Warsaw, was admitted to the PhD program with second-place ranking and actively engages in initiatives aimed at integrating Polish and international doctoral communities. His master’s thesis defended at the University of Warsaw, titled “Navigating Aspirations and Abilities: Ukrainian Refugee Integration in Poland’s Labour Market,” was recognized as the best thesis in the field of the labor market in a competition organized by the Institute of Labour and Social Affairs.
