Course Description
Course Profile
The Bachelor's degree programme Global Law And Governance shapes professionals with a comprehensive and well grounded knowledge of law, including international law, global governance processes and the functioning of international institutions. The degree programme is taught in English.
Students gain an understanding of the most important issues in the field of global law (its creation, implementation and application as well as basic institutions) and the management of institutions operating in global reality.
Graduates acquire the skills and social competences necessary to work in international institutions, non-governmental organisations, public administration (both central and local government), as well as in the private sector, where knowledge of law and global processes is required. The study programme further prepares students to conduct independent scientific research and to continue their education in master's degree studies, in particular through classes conducted in the form of seminars and conversation classes, as well as laboratories (in terms of practical skills).
The content of the programmes taught reflects the current research pursued at the Faculty of Law and Administration, including, among others, the sphere of public and private international law, European law, environmental law, human rights, international trade law and global aspects of constitutional law. Elective modules, updated annually, allow students the flexibility to tailor their studies to their interests and changing research trends.

There are 3 specialisations within the programme:
• Public institutions and human development;
• NGOs in the international sphere;
