Sustainable Energy Engineering MSc program is open to all nationals. However the tuition fee is different and depends on country of origin.

 

Tuition fee, YEAR 1 

Polish, Portuguese and other EU students:

free 

International (non-EU) students:

1900€ for 1st semester

1800€ for 2nd semester

 

Tuition fee, YEAR 2 (paid to Técnico Lisboa)

EU/Portuguese/Polish students: 1063,47€/year

Course Description

Course Profile

Sustainable Energy Engineering MSc is a program for future decision makers in the field of power engineering and environmental protection with the ambition to be leaders of energy transition implementation. 

It is an unique, English-taught, international Double Degree Master's program in the most attractive field of study: Energy and Energy Transition. 

The program covering all aspects of energy transition such as:

•    renewable energy 

•    low emission combustion, 

•    circular economy

•    new generation alternative fuels

•    waste to energy

•    efficiency of power systems

•    energy storage

•    decommissioning

•    world energy policy 

Additionally the program delivers skills related to management together with soft skills – like presentation, discussion, making influence, problem solving and making value judgements. The program is shaping leadership skills together with ability to work in a group on different positions and is conducted by Silesian University of Technology (Poland) and Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal).

 The program is flexible in delivery. Students can shape the study path according to their preferences choosing different modules – especially during the second year.
