Course Description
Course Profile
The Tourism & Hospitality programme equips students with a comprehensive understanding of tourism as both a dynamic human activity and a key sector of the global and local economy. You will explore the economic, social, environmental and spatial drivers of tourism, gaining the skills needed to shape destinations responsibly and competitively. From the very beginning, the programme prepares you for a professional career in destination management and tourism product development. You will learn how to design high-quality, market-ready tourism products that respect cultural heritage, protect the environment and respond to the real needs of local communities. Sustainability is not an add-on—it is a core principle guiding all aspects of the programme. From the second semester, you will begin working on your diploma project under the guidance of experienced academics, allowing you to specialise in an area aligned with your interests and career goals. The programme also includes professional training, a field trip, and access to a wide range of elective courses offered by the University—ensuring both practical experience and academic depth.
