Course Profile
The Media Content Creation programme is designed for individuals eager to explore the evolving digital landscape and harness the power of media to inform, entertain, and engage audiences. This forward-thinking programme integrates creativity, technology, and strategic communication, preparing students for dynamic careers in digital media, journalism, and content production.
Students will develop a deep understanding of media platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, streaming services, and emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality. The curriculum focuses on social and visual communication, fact-checking, ethical considerations, and the fight against disinformation. Through hands-on learning, students will refine their writing, speaking, and technical skills, enabling them to craft compelling content across multiple formats, including text, video, audio, and interactive media.
Emphasising an international and intercultural perspective, the programme provides students with exposure to expert lecturers from diverse disciplines. Graduates will be well-equipped to pursue careers in film and video production, television, digital and print media, graphic design, photography, podcasting, advertising, marketing, and gaming. Potential roles include social media influencer, blogger, vlogger, podcaster, filmmaker, and content strategist.
