Course Description
Course Profile
Tourism Management and Marketing is a second-cycle degree program covering a wide range of topics in tourism management and marketing, which are crucial in the modern tourism industry.
The program is a response to the increasing complexity, dynamics, and competitiveness of today’s tourism market. These demanding conditions create a need for competent professionals – managers who are knowledgeable about modern technologies, flexible, creative, ready to collaborate, and who understand the evolving expectations of 21st-century consumers.
Tourism is a real and significant sector of the economy; therefore, the program includes a relatively large number of practical aspects, preparing students for work in the tourism industry.
Students will gain theoretical insights and refine their research skills in relation to real-world phenomena observed in the tourism industry. They will explore various tourism market segments, their marketing strategies, sustainable tourism development approaches, principles of universal design, safety issues, the use of modern technologies (including AI, social media, GIS), and the operation of international reservation systems.
