Course Description

Course Profile

The aim of the course is to impart knowledge of financial markets, with particular emphasis on empirical methods applied to analysis in financial markets, and practical skills for obtaining financial data. The detailed scope of the FA degree program is in accordance with the scope of the CFA Level 2 and 3 accreditation requirements. The study prepares graduates to use the acquired knowledge and competencies in today's labor market, both at home and abroad. A graduate of the FA major, will acquire information and skills that are recognized worldwide as necessary for the proper performance of professions related to the investment industry. The major prepares you to work as investment advisors and financial analysts.

Potential jobs:

- Financial institutions and investment companies (banks, mutual funds, pension funds, insurance companies),

- brokerage houses,

- PE/VC funds,

- family businesses,

- corporate portfolio managers,

- consulting firms,

- company boards/controlling departments.

Graduates can take up jobs not only in accounting offices, financial centers, auditing companies, but also in various types of institutions of a controlling nature. The knowledge gained will also allow them to run their own business or provide consulting and advisory services. The combination of financial and managerial accounting knowledge will also predestine our graduates to take up positions as managing director, chief financial officer, managerial accounting specialist or controller.
