Course Profile

The tough world of distance-learning MBA programmes where the lack of geographical borders means that schools from all over the world compete for the same market space, the Euro*MBA is able to show that it competes with the very best. In the recent distance learning education survey carried out by The Economist WhichMBA (published 24 February 2010) the Euro*MBA was rated as one of the top 4 programmes worldwide. The rating published by The Economist evaluates distance learning programmes offered at the institutions that are featured in The Economists 100 full-time MBA ranking. The report lists the best 13 schools and includes IE Business School (ranked 16 in the Economists full-time MBA), Henley Business School (ranked 21) and Warwick Business School (ranked 22), as well as many other well-known schools and universities. Programmes were evaluated on programme content, the quality of the students and quality of the distance-learning elements. The Euro*MBA performed well in all these criteria, but scored excellent in terms of programme content. The programmes overall rating placed it in the top 4, alongside IE Business School, the University of Florida-Hough Graduate School of Business and the Thunderbird School of Global Management. The rating consolidates the Euro*MBAs position as distance learning MBA programme that competes with the very best!

Education Requirements

Applicants to the programme should have at least:
The equivalent of a first higher education degree (BA)
Five year professional (management) experience
Basic knowledge of functional management areas
Fluency in spoken and written English (for non-anglophones TOEFL 250 or other proof of language skills, via interviews with our partner institutions, or university degrees in English Anglo-phones are exempt.)
Two letters of recommendation
