Course Description

Course Profile

Since the academic year 2018/2019, the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering of Lodz University of Technology has been offering admission to the first-cycle degree program in Electrical Engineering taught in English.

The aim of launching and running this program is to improve the quality of education and competencies of future engineers. This will be achieved through internationalization activities, e.g:

• participation of international academic teachers in the education process,
• participation of international students in the program in Łódź,
• mobility of our students to complete one semester at foreign universities.

In the process of education, some classes will be taught with the application of modern teaching methods, such as Design Thinking or Problem Based Learning. By means of studies taught in English with the participation of international lecturers and students, the language skills of future engineers, so desirable in the job market, will be improved. Each student enrolled on the program will gain practical experience during a broad range of laboratory and project activities, with particular emphasis on online data transmission and acquisition techniques, which in the future will allow them to perform their professional tasks.

Education Requirements

Candidates have to hold a legalized secondary school certificate or another foreign document that entitles one to continue education at the university level.
