Course Description

Course Profile

The Doctoral School University of Szczecin started interdisciplinary 4-year education of the first doctoral students on 01 October 2019.

The comprehensive educational program of the Doctoral School of  the University of Szczecin offers  multidirectional preparation of  young scientists for independent  functioning in the domestic and  foreign scientific environment and  high development of research

The discipline of science you can choose:

• Humanities (philosophy, history, literary studies, linguistics)
• Medical and health sciences (physical culture science)
• Social sciences (economics and finance, socio-economic geography and spatial management, political and administrative sciences, management and quality studies, law, educational sciences, psychology, sociology)
• Natural sciences (mathematics, biological sciences, physical sciences, Earth and related environmental sciences)
• Theology
• Interdisciplinary education

Education Requirements

First-cycle and second-cycle studies along with a diploma supplement or long-cycle Master’s program, along with a diploma supplement. If the master’s diploma has not yet been issued, the candidate must submit a certificate from the university confirming the defence of the Master’s thesis or a certificate confirming enrolment in the final semester of second-cycle studies or long-cycle Master’s program, including the average grade from all semesters, except for the final semester – applicable to candidates specified in the resolution (rules of resolution will be given later on, please follow web site for up-date).
