Course Profile
Welcome to your next academic and professional milestone in Europe. Designed exclusively for international students, the Master’s (MA) programme in English Studies at Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) is a prestigious two-year journey built for those ready to master the subtleties of text, narrative, and publishing. Taught entirely in English, this advanced degree deepens your expertise in Anglophone literature, linguistics, and culture, while embedding you within a vibrant, historic European university setting.
What sets this Master's programme apart is its highly practical, laser-focused specialization: Language and Editing. We believe that advanced language skills must be paired with real-world execution, which is why the curriculum focuses heavily on professional text layout, copy-editing, proofreading, and content curation. You will learn the mechanics of style, structural editing, and digital publishing standards. This hands-on training ensures you graduate not just with theoretical knowledge, but with a highly specialized, technical skill set that is desperately needed in today’s text-saturated global marketplace.
By the time you defend your Master’s thesis, your rare combination of cultural intelligence and professional editing expertise will give you a massive competitive advantage in the international labor market. Our graduates are uniquely equipped to bypass entry-level limits and step directly into high-profile, creative, and corporate roles worldwide. Whether your ambition is to lead in international publishing houses, manage corporate communications for multinational giants, shape public relations strategies, or drive digital content creation for global brands, this degree provides the ultimate executive toolkit to confidently launch your global career.
