Course Description
Course Profile
English Studies: Literature and Culture is a modern degree programme conducted entirely in English, combining the rich tradition of literary and cultural studies with innovative teaching methods.
It’s the perfect choice for avid readers with a passion for English-speaking cultures and a curiosity for the humanities. Students develop critical thinking skills, learn to analyse literary and cultural texts, and refine their advanced language proficiency.
The curriculum covers a wide range of topics — from British and American literature, through cultural theory, to issues related to English-language media, communication, and contemporary social challenges.
The programme offers flexibility and individualised learning paths through a variety of elective modules, monographic courses, and academic tutoring. It emphasises independent thinking, project-based learning, and the ability to work with reliable sources of information.
Graduates are well prepared for further academic pursuits at the master’s level and for careers in academia, the cultural sector, publishing, media, international organisations, and the creative industries.
One of the programme’s key strengths is full immersion in the English language, alongside comprehensive preparation for work in multicultural and interdisciplinary environments.

3. In case of documents issued in languages other than Polish and English – certified translation into Polish made by a court translator from the official list of the Polish Ministry of Justice.
