Course Description
Course Profile
The Environmental Engineering programme prepares graduates to become experts in minimising the environmental impact of industrial activities. They gain comprehensive knowledge in areas such as sustainable energy use, waste management, and air quality protection. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including environmental biology and ecology, environmental management systems, air pollution control, water and wastewater treatment, waste management practices, sanitary infrastructure, land rehabilitation, spatial information systems, mechanics, and material strength. Graduates are equipped to work in research and development institutions, public administration, design and consulting firms, as well as a variety of industries, aiming to balance the relationship between humans, industrial development, and the natural environment. Upon completion of the programme, graduates are eligible to apply for unrestricted building licenses in the field of installations—specifically in heating, ventilation, gas, water, and sewage systems, including their associated networks and equipment.
