Course Description
Course Profile
The aim of the program is to provide students with current, advanced knowledge in the field of designing and supervising environmentally friendly technologies, applying waste-free technologies, using eco-friendly, renewable energy sources, designing waste-free technologies, providing expert opinions on the harmfulness of technologies already in operation to the environment, managing a laboratory, performing analyses to determine typical environmental pollutants, as well as developing the ability to write scientific texts and grant projects. Within the second-cycle programme, there will be a strong emphasis on the applied nature of knowledge gained during the first-cycle program.
Carrier opportunities:
1. laboratories as laboratory technician/assistant.
2. environmental regulators or government agencies.
3. in industry, process planning, control and construction of processes
4. industry, in quality control, quality management
Education Requirements
Secondary school certificate (obligatory) and state exam/matriculation results (if applicable) which entitle the candidate to apply for a bachelor's degree in the country, where the secondary education was obtained.
Subjects considered in the formula for calculating the candidate’s points: mathematics, modern foreign language, physics or chemistry.
