Course Description
Course Profile
Making important decisions is always based on collecting and analysing vast amounts of information. Data engineering helps achieve this goal by combining the experience and expertise of two areas: information technology and management. Students of this field of study will learn how to deal with large amounts of data from different sources and how to interpret them. All this is based on computer programmes and algorithms and knowledge of mathematics, statistics and economics. Due to a significant number of practical classes one can be sure that after graduation they will not only be theoreticians, but experts prepared to work in the business environment.
Career opportunities
Both IT departments of companies where IT expertise can be utilized for the strategic objectives of the business, and economic departments, where you can use your knowledge to identify the economic needs of a company
members of development teams, for example in IT, banking, finance, marketing
