Course Profile

Understanding the complexities of globalisation and international relations is essential in today’s rapidly evolving world. The MA in Global Studies provides students with an in-depth exploration of global governance, regional processes, international law, and economic development, equipping them with the skills necessary to navigate global challenges. This interdisciplinary programme offers both theoretical foundations and practical applications, preparing graduates for careers in diplomacy, policy analysis, international organisations, and business.

The curriculum covers international relations, globalisation, regionalisation, development economics, and human rights, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of global affairs. Programmes emphasise political forecasting, diplomacy, international communication, and social research methodology, helping students develop strong analytical and professional skills. Through internships, research projects, and collaborations with global experts, students gain hands-on experience that enhances their ability to work in multilateral institutions, governmental agencies, NGOs, think tanks, and international business. With a flexible selection of electives, students can tailor their studies to align with their career aspirations, whether in foreign service, policy research, global media, or academia. This programme prepares graduates to contribute to international decision-making, address global challenges, and engage in cross-cultural dialogue on a professional level.
